Funding

New funding arrangements have been required to support the new child and family services system. Existing funds and resources have been transferred to the new Authorities. In turn, the Authorities allocate funding and resources to the agencies. Additional one-time funding was also provided to cover a variety of developmental and transitional costs, such as training expenses, transfer of caseloads, and a range of administrative costs.

Work is now underway on the development of a new funding model.

Goal of This Sub-Project:

To develop interim funding arrangements, secure transition funding, and develop a future funding model as part of the restructuring of the child and family services system.
